Berzerk (1997) Episode 1 REACTION

Finished reading this a week ago myself, and I really recommend reading it. If you wont make reaction videos of berserk, then at least read it your own time if you find the time for it.

The manga is an absolute masterpiece, and the 1997 adaptation did justice to it, although it doesn't cover the newer stuff.

berserk is my #2 after hunter x hunter, so if you do a review / reaction it will be all I need lol. I think the best way to enjoy it is doing the anime and then the manga from he start or not. I would says the anime is not as good as the manga but it is stillr ealy good. and themusic.. you should absolutely watch it sub taught

i dont know what the anime is much like but Gants is brutal like this too in the manga. it was different in so many ways but the art was amazing. another one by the same author as Gants was Claymore. also a good one with dark lore and what not.

Couldn't recommend the manga more, as much as I think the 1997 is a good anime, the manga is phenomenal, a reaction to that would be awesome.

Generally people say to stay away from the 2016 show but the new movies I heard are ok to watch.

FYI the one who composed the music is Susumu Hirasawa, which is a big deal since he is a really famous composer. People complain about the three movies but watch them, even though it has cgi its well done specially the third one.

Ig some people like the 1997 version, but honestly it does not compare to the manga at all. You would be doing a disservice to the story if u watch it through anime first, Berserk is such a phenomenal story i would recommend just reading it on your own time

I see where this is going.... No you dont actually. Also people say dont watch the new ones because they are fully CGI but if you want continuation of the story you have to watch it. They are not good but they are not unwatchable levels of bad either. You should somehow do a manga while putting up the pages on the side if you can as manga is just superior and has crazy crazy good art.

My opinion is you could watch it first, then read it, but no anime could capture what the manga holds. Also the Deluxe versions are sold out so best to wait on the manga and react to the anime until restocked imo. All I can say of berserk is it's indescribable, a masterclass, an experience.

interesting how vinland skips forward in time and berserk is an origin story... but they both bad asses. the 2016 continues the story im pretty sure. people don't like it cause its cgi. Manga is better but I reckon the old show is vibey

i would recommend just reading the manga, neither of the animes does justice, the 1997 is better, but the manga is far superior

triple droppp! I need this shit I have a paper to procrastinat X'D berserk and btoom are both real gud but imo they're not the kind of shows to react to. especially berserk cause its one of those anime most people in the community have already seen and its not real plot twisty or anything

This and OP were my first series, along with Battle Royale. Every panel was a masterpiece and I'm currently sealing all 40 volumes which are in perfect condition. I still can't believe Miura sama is gone. It's your call whether or not to follow the Struggler on his journey, but either way, it's a fantastical piece of medieval fantasy. You may want to follow the '97 series through the Battle of Doldrey, then just watch the 3rd movie. Which all ends around volume 13. Treat it with love Ruff, this one is special.

Yeah the 1997 anime is a classic, despite the mild watering down of the material. It's worth watching, but the manga is truly amazing
