the single to triple star hunter rating is more to do with achievement than power, for example discovering a lost city, a new species, being involved with a peace process etc there are various things you can do to be awarded it but it doesn't usually relate to strength. Hunter's stars does not refer to hunter strength and each star has its own meaning 5- One star is given to a Hunter who produces remarkable achievements in a particular field. 6- Two stars are given to a Hunter who fulfills the Five Articles, holds an official position and has mentored a junior Hunter who is awarded a star. 7- Three stars are given to a Hunter who fulfills the Six Articles and produces remarkable achievements in multiple fields.

I personally lean towards the trans idea as Togashi has a history with the theme of gender since there was a transgender character in Yu Yu Hakusho but idk if we'll ever get a concrete answer.

Yeah, Morel using male pronouns for Alluka after hearing about her from Killua plus Killua not correcting him is why I lean towards the 'it's a family tradition to call all the Zoldyck children sons regardless of gender' theory. I don't think it's absolutely decisive, but it does seem to be a weird moment if she's transgender and Killua acknowledges that. You'd expect that he'd care that his friends use the proper pronoun. That said, I wouldn't be surprised that if we ever get an answer, the author decides to make her transgender now that that theory is so popular - after all it probably wouldn't be the first time he changed details about the mysterious 5th Zoldyck child. (I'm referring to the Feitan Zoldyck theory here)

Illumi cares about his family a lot especially his siblings which he helped raise. (Except Alluka sense she poses a treat). And the funny thing a lot of people shit on Illumi for putting the needle in Killuas head but it happened because the family wanted it. His parents and grandparents knew about the needle and were probably the ones that asked Illumi to put it in to keep Killua safe. And you are not the only one that Loves Illumi and Hisoka's relationships. There is a lot of people that ship them together. I am one of them. They are soo cute together. X)

Kite explained what star hunter meaning when he met Gon. The condition of gaining star is have made historic discoveries or great action for humanity. Also add Gon's father satisfy conditions but doesn't ask or care having triple star.

Of all the things cut from the anime. The infamous hand gesture makes it in. https://imgur.com/a/cZZt6Xs To clarify Hisoka said "やる". やる means do or a lot but it's also an allusion of killing. And it's written 殺る(やる) in the manga. 殺 means kill. With Hisoka's hand gesture, it means sex. Hisoka asked if he could have sex with Killua. Illumi didn't like it.
