OK, just had the greatest realization of my life, ever! Joel, Robin's boss, whom she kinda begs for her job back after quitting... is played by Michael Kagan, who also played Terry in Friends (not the cafe manager Terry). This Terry was the producer of Days of our Lives, where Joey refuses an opportunity for casting, and then needs the job back, and begs Terry to take him back! See, this guy always plays media bosses who can judge over quitting main characters!

I thought he didn’t enjoy the episode from the actual reaction, just watch it back, he literally was negative about a commute time… but he says he did so cool, glad you did. And I get that it is very surface level to just say Ted was unrealistic and unreasonable but add context. He had the conversation about moving with Stella.. it was just a misunderstanding
