Every time the subject of april comes up she becomes very guarded and careful, she is hunched up and kinda stressed in fear of saying too much or the wrong thing. And when my love cancels a wedding they dont need to plan for just show up for. I am by no means a believer in signs. But lor findi g the dress and in the span of an afternoon it all falling into place the date location everyone they know being able to come. That is awesome, especially seeing how often lor has dificulties making a decision. This was suddenly very easy. And now it slowly all breaks away. I dont know if its next ep or further down when she has a scene with emily talking bout them looking at houses but that one hurts and it is sth I often felt she needed to tell luke earlier and more often. The sad part truly is how asp writes dialogue, cause that is so unique that fanfiction is very hard to do cause i would crave some alternate timelines.

Sth that shocked me cause even disregarding that actors dont write the storie it was lukes behaviour that frustrated and infuriated me, ana is a different beast but with the situation as it was luke was a mess. And yes to see lorelai being iced out and shoved aside hurts to watch. Its like a slow burn but in reverse when it comes to the endgame.

2024-11-21 08:15:34 +0000 UTCI believe that Logan believes he didn't cheat. He comes across as sincere in his explanation. Also, he insisted on Rory coming to the wedding, knowing full well about who the bridesmaids would be. Why would he do that if he thought he had something to hide? However...it is still a grey area, because they never officially broke up, so Rory had no way of knowing that this was supposed to be a split. They had a fight (which didn't even feel that huge at the time) and then didn't speak for a few weeks. The argument that Rory ignored him and therefore this meant that they were broken up, is a bit on shaky ground, because in terms of the timeline, we only see Rory ignore him after she learns from Honor that Logan told his sister they were broken up. And we only see Logan trying to get back in touch with her and cranking up the volume of his efforts with endless flowers, coffee and finally going to Lorelai, so we see Logan as desperate to win her back. Did he sleep around in that same time frame? Because that doesn't make much sense and could indeed be seen as cheating, however convinced Logan may be that it wasn't.

2024-11-20 17:48:24 +0000 UTCi don’t know if it takes a mind reader to tell that lorelai is miserable. yes, luke is preoccupied, but he still in a committed relationship with someone who deserves to be met half way. luke also doesn’t have lorelai’s trust right now. remember, he lied to her for two months. the last time she vocalized what she was fearing the first time they broke up, that was what broke the camel’s back. luke wanted time, lorelai didn’t have the confidence to give it to him.

Also, I think for any romantic relationship, expecting your partner to be a mind-reader while you keep quiet about what bugs you, tends to be detrimental.

If it had just been a fight & they kept in contact it’d be different but I think them not talking at all is big deal. It’s justifiable to me for someone to assume that’s a break up.

It’s so clear to see how sad she is;( Yes she could communicate more but she’s trying so hard to give him space and be supportive even though it’s killing her to be pushed out and neglected so much
