I know some parts of the animation may be rough, but it’s because the studio outsourced a couple of animation scenes because they had other animators working on different series. For me though, the characters and their development just like what you mentioned with Klaus are all the stand out moments I care about. The animation team that worked on this put as much of their all into each episode as they could.

Example the Clover Kingdom strongest mage is the Wizard King, the Diamond Kingdom strongest is the Diamond King and the Heart Kingdom is the Heart Queen and the Spade Kingdom is the Spade King. These four are the pillar that fight and protect their kingdoms. If any of the four kingdoms Wizard King,Diamond King, Heart Queen, Spade King were to be killed in battle that Kingdom will be heavily exposed to Invasion and collapse as they would have lost their strongest mage and protector.
