One Piece Episode 388-390 REACTION

I think the danger is mostly the travel. Plus they have regular occurrences of the world's most dangerous pirates that are on the search for One Piece. But the travel bit is also why the Sea Train was so revolutionary. Safe travel between three islands!

dont watch the one piece episode of east blue, there isnt much spoilers but there is a little bit of spoilers in the beginning regarding the strawhat's looks as it takes place around episode 625ish in the story(but still not technically cannon) hope you enjoy the road till then XD

I also think that the idea is that it's not that everything in the Grand Line is dangerous, but it's unpredictable, so you might have one island that really nice and the next one is hell on earth. Therefore, if you grew up on a island like Alabasta and never leave it you'll have a pretty normal life, but if you try to TRAVEL the Grand Line you'll eventually find trouble. That's why it's the "pirate's" graveyard, and not necessarily for normal people.

I think the reason they talk about how dangerous Grand Line is it mostly referring to the sea. As you might remember when they went to the grand line they couldn't navigate the water without a specific tool and the water keeps changing at any moment. So that is the biggest danger people who go there faces. Most people born in the grand line stays on the islands they are born in and don't go through the hardship that comes travelling between them. That is my theory at least. X)

The grand line is dangerous because the chance that you run into a powerful pirate or marine is much higher than in the four blues. In the grand line, you can run into the warlords and admirals. In the east blue, smoker what the most dangerous marine and Arlong is the most dangerous pirate. A youtube called Mr Morj described it best. The floor almost the same in every sea, but the ceiling becomes higher the farther you go.

On weak people in the Grand Line, I think it's really just a relative thing. For normal people living outside the Grand Line, all the crazy weather and impossible navigation make it scary enough to travel there. Then there's the fact that you have all the strong pirates gathering looking for One Piece and Marine HQ around trying to catch them, so there's just a higher concentration of really strong people compared to other oceans. It's just more likely you'll run into someone like Aokiji or a Warlord compared to East Blue, for example. Also, don't forget that the Straw Hats have gotten super strong, so it's not the fairest comparison. We're following the Pirate King's crew after all, they'll have to beat everyone eventually!

Just to clarify, you cant watch stampede until like a few hundred more episodes. I think you are thinking of strong world which takes places after 380 so in theory you could watch it any time. If youve heard 420 or whichever you said then thats fine too of course.

The whole explanation of how there can be weak people on the grand line is kinda spoily right now because there’s two parts of it, as you already know. So I’ll explain using the information you already have The base power is a factor. It’s not the same a weakling from the east blue and a weakling for the grand line, even tho they get trashed kind of the same way. Also, another factor is the navy itself. Even tho it doesn’t seem, their presence is important. I’m just able to say that. And the most important one: every country has a way of defending itself and their residents. Whiskey peak was a conglomerated of “weak people”. Drum island was actually in jeopardy because they didn’t have a competent army (Wapol fled) and they got Black beard to fuck it bc of that. Alabasta “had” Crocodile, and the royal army. Skypea was safe because it’s almost impossible to get there saefly and ofc their army and “god” Water 7 had and has the shipwrights Enies Lobby had CP9 Thriller Bark well, there was not people there, lol.
