Disagree and agree, its dumb how votes can sometimes work. Popularity will obviosly win over quality. Black clover doesn't bring anything groundbreaking, but it is for sure its own shonen story and is better paced then many other long running shonens. Minimal filler and has more character development is half the time as many other series and doesn't feel forced at all. I also disagree with code geass where every episode is reaction worthy. (not saying your wrong, just stating my view). There are a couple significantly dragged out moments that just felt there for humor in a uncreative way and was quite annoying. But not much of that for sure.

The idea that 58% of the YT poll voted for BC over Code Geass is an indictment on the idea of democracy. Mind you, I dont think Black Clover is a bad show per se, but its an unabashedly formulaic shonen meant to be prolonged for hundreds of episodes whereas Geass is a compact story built so virtually every episode is reaction worthy I think doing BC is a good idea for your channel audience wise, but if you're watching HxH, One Piece and MHA already its probably not gonna show you anything new

in simple terms, black clover has a bigger audience because its genre, its more along the lines of naruto or one piece in shonen.

I think the reason we voted code geass over black clover is because we have actual taste 😎 but in all fairness I think it's more-so because black cloves is a shonen that most people have seen and while everyone that have seen code geass say it's amazing, not as many people have actually seen code geass.

He's not being possessed or anything, he's just a guy who had an ambition but no power before and now he suddenly has this superpower and it's going to his head. It's a lot like Light from Death Note. And as you watch this series, I'd highly recommend pausing every time you look away from the screen to give some thoughts. There's a huge amount of potential info in every line and it passes by really quick, so I'm sure there'll be people who will be mad you missed things (although it seems like you're getting 95% of what's happening anyway)
