Hey Ruff, you should look into getting the One Piece movie Strong World. You are getting close to the time that you'd be able to watch it. It's not on any legal streaming services so if you wanted to watch it legally you'd have to get the DVD. It is one of the best movies though so it is worth it. Also, the movie is different because the villain and his backstory is canon and gets referenced in the anime and manga so you'd miss out on those references if you don't see it.

Moria is really underrated. I find the best point about him is looking at him as if he were an older Luffy: he's goofy, has a very interesting power and cares for his crew. But unlike Luffy, he has been destroyed in his journey and is now a shadow of himself. Pun intended

Pretty sure the biggest reason people dislike this arc is because of the abysmal pacing. Getting epsiodes that are mostly flashback or entirely still reaction shots or shots of the environment that just last forever jsut aren't that entertaining to me. Now to be clear I actually like this arc it's just way less fun in the anime compared to the manga.

So much sexual harassment in Thriller Bark. First Brook with the ladies, then Absolum with the ladies, then Sanji talking about wanting to peep, then ghost girl with Usopp. I'm surprised Moria doesn't have a few zombie lawyers on hand for all the lawsuits.

tbh I like Thriller Bark more than the next arc. I enjoy the strawhats' non-serious shenanigans the most, more than non-stop action.

You know, it's one thing that Sanji's bounty is so poorly drawn. It's another altogether that people literally cannot tell it is him crosschecking the Straw Hat's bounties against his face... That WG/Marine artist needs to be fired.
