I knew this was the channel for me! You also refer to your audience as angels, and Gandalf's best analog is an archangel, like Michael or Gabriel. People often say the wizards are angels, but it could be more specific with a descriptor like "archangel."

Remember when the Fellowship received gifts from Galadriel, such as the elven rope and the cloaks? Well, you'll remember that Gimli said he asked for a single hair from Galadriel's head, and she gave him three. In the books, he asks for a single hair, but not only does she give him three, but she also gives him the hairs set in impregnable crystal, which symbolizes a renewed friendship between Elves and Dwarves. You may remember that Elves and Dwarves famously don't get along. The three hairs set in the crystal were meant to signal an era of friendship that was to take place between them.
