2023-06-22 21:03:16 +0000 UTCI'm explaining this because I'm pretty sure they never actually explain in the anime, just drop subtle phrases now snd then. There are three types of Devil Fruits: the most common is Paramecia (luke Luffy), which is basically just one that doesn't fall into the other two categories. Zoan (like Chopoer), are animal or creature based and normally give the user three transformations (a human form, z beast form, and s human-beast form), which Chopper being the only known exception to that rule. The most powerful type are the Logia (Smoker, Ace, Crocodile, Eneru), for their body is literally made up of the substance their DF possessed, so normal punches, sword slashes and other attacks will literally go right through you. The only power that we know at this point that work on Logis users are other Logia users like how Ace fought Smoker, or if you happen to find that users weakness, like Crocodile with water. There are other ways but those are revealed later and would definitely be a spoiler so I shall not mention them. Hope you find this helpful.
