2022-03-02 10:26:33 +0000 UTCi will say as someone who literally watchs dub 99% of the time i wont say it is trash but the dub cant hold a candle to the sub but i will say there are a few characters in the dub thats are as good if not better then the sub but its not a whole lot of characters

At least with them, there was a LOT of comedic value in the corniness and edits, one of those "so bad it's good" kind of experiences to laugh about with friends. With the Funi dub.... it's just painfully mediocre throughout, and that's way worse as a viewing experience.

2020-08-05 01:32:26 +0000 UTCFun fact in case you are interested: if you continue at your current pace of six episodes a week then you will get fully caught up to where One Piece is currently at in about two and a half years. Estimating that there is a new episode every single week without any breaks then you will be fully caught up to One Piece in about three and a half years. Of course, this is all assuming that you don't skip any of the filler episodes. Skipping more will obviously shorten the time. In any case, you have content for years.

2020-08-01 05:57:44 +0000 UTCI doubt you'll get much hate for not liking the dub. Personally, one piece is the only anime I know which I cannot listen to the dub at all. The Japanese VAs just do a much better job. Way more emotion in their voices and when it comes to the funny moments they're just perfect for a series like one piece IMO.
