I'm surprised they haven't even begun to solve the fossilized myrvite problem yet. I wonder why energy transformations aren't enough? Do mundane sorces of light, heat, and motion not contain dense enough energy to meaningfully convert them into arcane energy for powering glyphs? Is it an energy storage issue? They might really need to figure out how to make miniature arcane suns, like on Luamin.

When she suggested mass killings, she meant turning herself into an invisible high speed ghost, bypassing all wards and defences to use an unknown instant death spell. She'd have to come every cycle to kill Westrun. Which would be suspicious, and might upset Liuan. Also, it might make people really look into why she hates him.
