Weekly update 8/31
Added 2025-09-01 02:20:13 +0000 UTCHi all! Dragoncon has kept me busy, so while both tier's chapters went out this morning, I couldn't schedule a post with links that didn't exist yet, and Mirian won't give me her temporal anchor, so the weekly update is coming to you now.
It turns out there's a few people who go to this con. I've seen the number 75,000 quoted, which is a lot of humans. There's just a constant flow of people on every sidewalk, huge lines for panels and events, and basically every panel I've seen has filled up. There's also amazing cosplay everywhere representing just about any fandom you can think of.
I've also had the pleasure of meeting and talking with lots of authors in the litrpg and progression fantasy genres (as well as narrators and publishers). As far as business trips go, this one is pretty neat. It's also clear the genre is growing because all the litrpg panels I've seen so far have been packed!
There's one more day of con, then a day of travel, and then I'll be back to my usual routine. If there's typos that need to be fixed or things that need to be addressed, I'll catch up on reading comments then too. Hope everyone is doing well!
