Some context since I feel this page might be a little hard to grasp:

At the end of Chapter 3 (Page 51) Silke 'detects' Hazel and Ash having sex (it's not explained yet why she can do this) and because of this, she sets her sights on Ash and sends out Rhys to grab her. Now her suspicions are confirmed. Ash is strong with magic/power/whatever Silke and Hazel also seems to have, and this is apparent because of how her body responds. Silke probably shaved on purpose (shaved pits in Alba universe = strange!) to have an easy way to 'gauge' Ash's strength.

To be clear, this is different from Meek's situation, although the outcome is similar here (by coincidence). Ash = 'power', Meek = hormones. Different situation, similar result in this case.

I've had this plot point in my head for years and it's a little unfortunate it happens to line up with the Meek comic as they inherently are very different stories. There's still lots more questions raised her. What's Rhys and Silke's situation/relationship? Why is she seemingly hiding this from Rhys? Why is Silke so interested in Ash? Questions, questions!
