[Weekly Development Update #29]

I wanted to post this a day early since next week I'll be going hard on finishing this update, but I need to explain what exactly I'm doing right now.

When I started to work on fixing Martha, I quickly figured out that this was going to be a lot more work to fix her than I anticipated. So I'm going to have to put the planned Martha content on pause for the time being.

However, I still want to release another update this month so I quickly went to work on something else - more Marnie content! I figured no one has a problem with that so allow me to explain what I'm adding.

First things first, I made some additional updates to Marnie. Mostly more skin wetness and higher normal maps. As a 3D character designer first, I'm always improving and looking for new things that come out or things I can do better to make my models more realistic. I used this version in the last pin-up of Marnie and I hope you guys enjoy the added flavor.

Secondly, I'm adding 3 more sex animations to the scene where you have sex with Marnie again after making her your girlfriend. Currently there's only one there, the cowgirl one, so I'll be adding 3 more to that. The animations are already done (just needs to be rendered), and the animation shown above is one of them. I wanted to spice up the animations a bit so I'm doing them a little differently. The other 2 animation previews will be posted later this week for Tier 2+.

Third, I'm adding a new scene that happens after you either bang Lorraine or don't. Some backstory, Marnie is currently unemployed, or was. She went to an interview at a fast food joint earlier that day with Janice. That's where Janice and Marnie went, on top of going grocery shopping. She wanted Janice to go with her because she was afraid of going alone. Marnie ended up getting the job (not a hard choice), and she was told to come back later that day to work. This just is temporary, but she needs it, as you will know if you've read her profile I posted. Here is her in her work uniform.

The manager of the fast food joint made this name tag for her. Obviously, this is not a good sign, so the main character has the choice of going with her to work and actually working there as well, or not. There will only be a few hard choices in this game, but this is one of them. If you don't choose to go with her to work and get a job there too, then she will go by herself (she has to - she needs money). However, choosing to not go with her to work means you will be able to attend the party that night. If you do choose to go with her to work, you will miss the entire party, as both of you will work pretty late and will not be able to attend.

Also, if you don't go with her to work, you will also never be able to romance Marnie again, ever, even if she is your girlfriend at this point. Marnie is the main love interest of Godson and your Fairy Godmother, so her content will be a little bit different from this point. So if you play Godson and don't pursue Marnie, you are basically missing part of the main story in a way. That's why I said in her profile that not being with Marnie at the end of the game is the Bad Ending. If you're more interested in a party then being there for her, then there will be consequences for that.

Now this doesn't mean that you won't be able to pursue and be with any other LI's in the game if you don't go to the party, it just means that if you don't go with Marnie to work, you can't ever be with her specifically. However, you will be able to redeem yourself with her later in the game, but you'd have to have made her your girlfriend early on. If you didn't, and you don't go with her to work right here, you're done with her.

How does this make sense? How are you supposed to know what she wants you to do here if the game doesn't tell you? Well you know women, they expect you to read their mind and automatically know what they want without them telling you. But, our main character can read minds, can't he?

I won't be able to finish all of this fast food Marnie content before the end of the month, but I can finish a decent amount of it, and I'll have all the new animations in the game too. So this new update coming will have part of the new Marnie content, and the extra animations for the previous gold pizza scene.

By the time (end of next month) I finish this new fast food content completely, I should have Martha updated. Then we'll jump back on doing the Martha content, which now, you must not go with Marnie to work to see as she will show up after Marnie leaves. Like I said, it's a hard choice. What will you do? Probably just save scum and go back to it once you see both routes lol but hey that's a way to do it!
