and think hes financially motivated to be Nocts friend
and they think maybe it could be used to their advantage
Noctis has been slacking in some areas of his duties
they looked into his finances and he definitely NEEDS the money
So this could help everyone out
Noct is coaxed into doing his duties by Prom seeing as he does anything Prom asks
Prom can afford to eat
And Ignis has an easy life and theyre also in control of operation gold digger
theyre providing the shovels

oh nO Noct /not/ being told (at first) is a more likely scenario in my head and just feeling so confused about how he lost his one and only friend. Iggy /having/ to confess after realizing there's literally no good way to word it. Prom getting a very apologetic prince on his doorstep and feeling upset FOR Noct because "seriously?! Its not you that should be apologizing!" Love it but my heart hurts
