FF15 Inappropriate

HELLO! What do we have here?? A beautiful, elegant baby! His clothes are amazing and once again I'm loving the hints at the cultural/sartorial differences between the two nations! Omg where to start like....the fact that Prom was so instantly accommodating to Noct despite his exclusion and the sham status of their mating. Instantly just like 'of course, tell me what to do and I'll do it.' I feel like Ignis would reflexively - and possibly visibly - recoil at what he considers to be such easy, stereotypical submission. Prom might be very accustomed to having to walk an incredibly fine line in Niflheim, between being a sweet and welcoming omega to VIPs, and also not appearing too 'forward' or bold. I feel like Noct would be weirdly put out by how ready Prom is to hide whatever's going on with his unhappy scent and put on a pleasant smile. Those bands around where his mating marks are... it's such a sad story on its own, and looking at Noct's face he would be real surprised by the mixed feelings he's hit with when faced with some alpha nosing away at them, practically kissing them. The fact that he's nosing at the only bit of skin that's actually exposed by those sleeves as well, such a risky move. Would a part of Prom even feel a little pang of happiness at having someone dote so publicly over him, even though the man's way too forward and is clearly v smug and wants to get a rise. Is it so wrong for him to feel a little joy at the prospect of someone wanting to spoil him? But at the same time, there's something about the way the guy talks that seems a little like he's thinking of Prom as a bird to keep in a gilded cage, and he's definitely had enough of that. Also super intrigued as to what words Noct had for Prom that the press didn't hear - they could thankfully read positively into the things that they did hear, but I'm wondering what else was going on that they weren't privy to. I can only imagine how hurt Prom would be to have his would-be mate, who has so thoroughly rejected him, suddenly send the hugely mixed message by growling about an alpha being too 'forward' with Prom. Like, what's he supposed to do with that? I'm imagining him having to talk himself out of feeling hopeful, because Noct and the others have made it perfectly clear that Prom is not wanted and is not a mate.
