Doctor is called and Ignis probably wants a. to know if it was an act and b. to know WHAT caused it because if theres a threat to his pack and they started with Prom

the doctor very discreetly says he's suffering from neglect
that you cant take an omega from a pack and just abandon him
and that if this were to get out to the media it would do irreperable damage to Nocts reputation
Maybe this is the beginning fo them coming around

Nyx has his own pack in the glaives but its probably such a sensitive topic that he has to be careful what he tells anyone
So they do it under the guise of that theres a threat to Prompto
and he needs a live in glaive

I completely don't mind and understand if you'd prefer me not to/would like me not to publicly connect it back to you! Or if you'd prefer to see stuff before I post it I can absolutely do that too! Also it took me literal years to fully get into and then admit that I very much enjoy ABO. It can be written in so many different ways and there's so many different takes and while I'm not into all of them, it's really interesting to see all the different ways people have the universe play out! I was/am also a Teen Wolf fan and sometimes I just sit back and marvel at how those writers thought they could just drop words like 'alpha' and 'beta' around the shop and not turn people kinky. I'm seriously so in love with this take not only on ABO for the boys but also arranged marriage/mating. Fully on board with the idea you were discussing with someone below on how Prom's attitude would slowly change from 'absolutely desperate to please if it gets me some attention/affection' to 'hold on a minute, I still want you to love me but I'm seriously not sure whether YOU deserve MY devotion after how you behaved' Also can we talk about that tasty little morsel you dropped about cultural differences?? ♥️♥️ I'm so excited thinking about the social differences between Lucis and Niflheim - they probably have vastly differing views/cultural practices in regards to secondary gender, and I feel like that would cause even more crossed wires with the boys. I'm picturing like...Niflheim probably has conservative views on how omegas should behave around alphas to show respect, but to Noct, this behaviour from Prompto may come across as like... standoffish? There's so much to explore here, I'm loving it!

2022-07-31 00:30:58 +0000 UTCOh yeah I imagine image is a HUGE thing in more traditional pack - the long hair a testament to that with Prom having been forced to grow it and look pretty and have a certain image that was befitting of an omega which is another reason he rubs Ignis the wrong way. Like maybe even Ignis has a point because some of it *IS* an act. Like Prom full on guffawing at something Nyx does and slapping his hands over his mouth like ....WAS THAT SOUND ME???

Thank you so much pink ♥ ABO is kind of funny for me because I started reading as a last resort because like honestly im SUCH a believer in ykinmk nad ABO was often a little OOC just to make them fit the roles but give me all the non conforming omegas and alphas - I want to read it. Like I ironically started reading and then OOPS suddenly enjoying it very much. I mean as a teenwolf fan was I ever safe?? But yessss, the Nyx situation like - they probably dont even realise its full on jealousy at first they just think their prides are wounded from another alpha having to fulfill a role they were incapable of. The wake up call they needed.

I absolutely love how you've drawn prom and his beautiful hair - between this and the wedding picture I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing portrayal of omega prom. You've managed to capture the physical build and slight differences of his secondary gender without making it overdone - he looks wonderful but very much still himself! The storyline is also deserving of the biggest chef kiss, it's got absolutely everything. I love the juxtaposition between Prom's delight/hope about his new mate and pack, and Noct et al's dismay. Unwanted/wanted political marriage is my absolute jam, I'm so here for it. The boys are such a tight unit in all iterations of their world, it's so easy to see how that would become unintentional neglect for poor prom, this unasked-for outsider. Their attachment and devotion to each other easily turns into coldness towards anyone they deem to be intruding and it's understandable but so sad for poor prom. I love the idea of Nyx being brought in to sort of serve as a surrogate alpha because Prom has been taken from an unloving pack and dumped straight into another one...I can picture all the complicated emotions that would evoke in the others!
