I spent toooooo much time on this but I'm real proud of it haha, a friend gave me a tip on working with gradient maps and everything suddenly makes sense (working with them turned on! I never thought to try that...)
I'm using pretty much only truegrit brushes here and they are so worth it aa. I'm using a marker (Chisel Bleed-Kolormarc) with no multiply mode for the colours, and for the inks I used Last Legs Pen- Monomania.
I also started using more sketch layers, and its very helpful tbh, but messy haha!

I don't know if stable boy will feature in more things after these illustrations, but I'll call him Luke I think! Sorry bull man...you've fulfilled your purpose.
