Arcane Season 2 Episode 4 Reaction Edited

At this point, it feels like each episode is gonna break me 🙃 I'm still trying to process everything that happened in this one, Jinx seems to be doing so much better and found a little family, but then that ending! 🤯

Honestly, I wish I experienced stuff like this! I think with Arcane S2 being the pace that it is, it just feels like so much is happening all at once and it takes me a while to wrap my head around things before the next thing happens, which I then need to wrap my head around. Your way is probably the best way to watch stuff as it allows you to focus in on expressions and other details during slower paced stuff while also not getting overwhelmed when things go quite fast. I’m not sure I’d describe it as normal, but I’d say it’s a better way at viewing stuff like this than most as clearly you never get bored or overwhelmed and just keep getting to enjoy every second 😂

IDK what's maybe wrong with me, because I've never felt that anything I've read or watched was too fast paced, or too slow paced. I never get bored or bothered by slow pace or slow pace if I'm engrossed by the characters or the atmosphere. if things are happening very quickly, I simply pause more. If they're happening slowly (I rarely witness that, but, for example, in DBZ Kai final chapters battles are slower than in first DBZ Kai season, so I sometimes give those battles x2 speed, but very rarely), well, I usually find reasons for that, and I look at character's expressions more, etc. IDK. Is it normal to almost never be bothered by slow or fast pace in fiction, not really notice it (unless it's smth as slow as dragon ball), etc, or is smth wrong with my perceptions? XD sometimes I even thought that maybe I just prefer slower pace - but then for example "Arcane" s 2 happened, and if people asked me before any online reviews which was faster paced, s 1 of Arcane or s2, I'd have aswered that s1 was faster while s2 was slower and let me feel the feelings of the charas in a slower, better for me pace, without a doubt - and then I've learnt online than s 2 was faster paced. /shrugs. idk, my perception of pace in fiction is apparently not majority perception so I'll just never talk about pace again. I know I'm slow. So I was sure that "Arcane" s2 was slower, because it felt more like my pace than s 1 (and I love both seasons) when I was first watching it. But I don't know, honestly. XD nvm, I'm rambling maybe. XD

I think this episode might be one of my favourites just because of the effect Isha’s had on Jinx, it’s so beautiful to see Jinx get a relationship like this in her life that’s completely positive. She finally has someone that loves her for her and doesn’t want to change her. Watching her inspire Zaun was actually quite funny, it always felt like Vi’s end goal to achieve this with how this show started but it ended up being Jinx who could actually unite everyone. I’m really enjoying watching Jinx and Sevika team up and I hope there’s more of this to come, they’re such a fun duo and the history between them just makes it even stronger. Okay I love this explanation for why Ambessa missed Jinx, on one hand, she’s off her game as she thinks she’s failed bother her children and is getting no further in her Hextech experiments, but also she could just be checking out any warrior that catches her eye! Love this detail, everything in the final scene points back to that opening, it’s memories flooding back! It’s also insane how far back Singed must have planned around this beast as he’s been working on ‘it’ this entire time. 😂 😂 Love this easter egg! It actually makes it funnier and more fitting that Jinx would force some neutral and cowardly creatures to fight each other.

About the end of the episode: yes. As you'll soon see, so that's no spoiler. :)

Alright another awesome episode and so much I want to say but unfortunately I'll have to hold back most of it until we get some more intel from the show. Love how good Isha's presence is for Jinx. She seems completely free from hallucinations when with her. And despite her best efforts not to, Jinx manages to inspire Isha and the people of Zaun into a more united state than they've been in years (well, Caitlyn and Ambessa did help). This joy is of course cut short when Rictus shows up and everyone in the gathering is arrested. Loved getting some more Jinx and Sevika team up when they go to rescue their people. Jinx making a prosthetic finger after failing to flip Sevika off is a nice touch. As for Ambessa missing Jinx, she's definitely slipping a bit due to losing both her children in quick succession. That said, it is widely theorized that she missed Jinx because she was checking Sevika out. She was released into the game as a champion during this season and has flirty voice lines for muscular women as well as men with similar build to the "local cuisine" she hung around with in the first season. The song playing in the final scene before the word "Powder" is the same song Powder sang in the very first scene of the series. We also saw Singed looking up to the beast hanging from his ceiling in the final scene of season one finale. Beyond that I'll leave everything to do with Singed and the Black Rose for later. And an easter egg to end with: The "monsters" Jinx has fighting each other in the start of the episode are cowardly, neutral creatures known as Scutter Grabs in the game.
