Good morning moon babes! Today we are bringing back my herbal series where we spend time working with one herb at a time. This is called my “personal findings” because it is truly my notes on this herb, how I like using it magically and one simple but potent spell you can do with that herb alone. This herb is one we will be working with a few times this month as it is an herb I put in this month’s spell boxes that are sent to you guys.

I like doing this with herbs in rotation to truly get me in sync and understanding the full scope of what certain herbs and their spirit offer.

Healthwise Fennel is amazing for:

Fennel is anti inflammatory, anti fungal, it aids in digestion, antiviral, antioxidant, appetite suppressant, overall beneficial towards heart health, it is known to aid in bringing more milk production to mothers as well, aids in detoxing the liver. Fennel is packed with  vitamin c, calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, and manganese.

Spellwork With Fennel - Fennel Tea For Strength & Courage

Things you’ll need:

-Fennel 

-Tea bag

-Kettle / pot/ microwave / something to heat your water up

-Spoon

-Clean water

-Honey or sweetener of your choice

How To Cast

Cleanse your space, yourself, and your tools, and protect yourself as you feel appropriate. You are going to want to create a sigil for this working, and spend some time creating this sigil for the tea, you can stir this into your tea as you are sipping it to boost the energy of your working.

-Spiritually cleanse your drinking cup with clean cold running water asking the water to wash away any stagnant or leftover energy that is in your cup. Then start filing your kettle with clean water, praying to the water that it beings more strength and resilience to your working and spirit.

-Grab your fennel and place a tablespoon or two (the amount of fennel you want to use for this tea is up to you, I personally like the taste of fennel tea but it might not be your vibe. The amount of fennel you use here doesn't change the spell. Thank the fennel you are using in your spell for its potency and willingness to aid in your working. Take the fennel in your hand and activate if however you feel comforitabe. I take one fennel piece and chew on it while speaking to the rest in my hands about the spell, thanking the spirit of the fennel and giving it specific tasks about what I want it to strengthen in myself and how I want the courage to manifest.

-Once your fennel is activated and water is boiled add your fennel into your tea cup and pout over the tea bag. While you are pouring the water in take time to pray/chant with this water once again, water is an amazing element that can hold SO much memory and energy. Give her a job! Once your water and fennel tea bag are combining add your sweetener of choice if you would like to and activate the sugar to draw that energy into you and to have it “stick.” Allow this to steep for at least 3 minutes (if you don’t want a super strong tea add less fennel into the bag!)

-For the spell, you can chant this during the steeping process or if you would like to chant this as you are stirring your sweetener in. Recite 3 times or more as you stir, then sip and enjoy!
