Happy Home Blessing - Simmer Pot

Good afternoon moon babes. As some of you may know or may not know, I am moving and with that comes getting my new place prepared spiritually. When you move, it's important to get your new home or new space spiritually prepared for yourself, your loved ones, your pets, and whoever may come over.

You may want it to be a comforting, tranquil, beautiful place that allows you to really prosper, grow and learn, have fun, and live in the space. I literally did this when I moved into my dorm room and I did this with like a tea light candle was not supposed to add flames. You could do this with something small too, like a little tea light or wax warmer or something like that. You could use the stove or maybe a little hot pot sort of thing. You can use anything that you can boil water on or have water get hot.

What You'll Need

- Orange 

- Lemon

- Ginger

- Mint

- Rosemary

- Sun Water

What to Do

- This is really a home blessing. It's not a cleansing, this would be something that I would do after I spiritually cleanse the home in its entirety. But I really liked to do this because it's mix of a thank you, a welcoming, and also a blessing and something to bring energy super, super high in your space up.

- For this, I chose all herbs that are extremely uplifting. They're both cleansing, purifying, protective, and also have really, really high energy. So that sets you up for a really prosperous space. Because if you spend a lot of time at home, even if you're just spending your downtime after work or school, your home really needs to be a sanctuary for you.

- When you're putting this together, I like to prep all the herbs in a big bowl and take it into the center of the home. Wherever that would be. The center could be your living room or the heart of the house, which a lot of people say the kitchen. But sometimes it's not actually in the center of the home.

- So you've found the center of the home. Now take the herbs and then pray to the house and to your ancestors and to the animals that are on the land and the plants that are on the land. If there are any plants outside pray to the specific area that you're in.

- Go ahead and bless your herbs and then continue on with your summer pot like like normal. This after it's been simmering on my stove for a day I will go ahead and turn it into a floor wash

To make the floor wash:

Take a cheesecloth, drain all the herbs and all the things out. Make sure it's boiling hot, put a little Fabuloso or Pine-Sol depending on what the floors can handle. Then use it on your floors too!

I hope you guys try this out. Hope you guys love it. You don't have to do this in a new home. You can do this at any time to reset that energy. But I hope you guys give it a try!
