Painting Julien's room is always a challenge. I designed the characters colours to work with each other, but it's almost impossible to plan for every element that might show up behind them in the background, so I resort to cheap art tricks :P. Here I've lightened the clothes rack in the background, because Roman would blend right in if I used the rack colours from the previous page. I also added a little rim lighting to their heads, especially to Julien, who's hair is almost the same colour as the wallpaper.

Ahh this is exactly the vibe I was going for, thank you so much! It's funny, I have the whole room planned out, but there's still a corner that I haven't shown, despite all the pages I've done in this setting!
