I was imagining this was some royal event and the headlines the next day are all about the Princes advisor embarrassing himself by drinking too much
falling around the place
throwing up
Turns out a server came over to Ignis while he was with Noct with some snacks
Ignis picked 2 off for him and Noctis
Noct: 'whats in it?'
'You wont even taste the vegetables Noctis'

And Ignis works so hard to cultivate his image too

Ignis sighs and eats them both
He'll grab the cheese ones for Noctis when they come around
turns out they were poisoned
and laced with enough that one would do damage
Fortunately for Ignis, everyone who knows him personally knows he doesnt drink at events
So when this happens rather than sending him home he's immediately checked out
and the headlines go from 'A Royal Embarrassment'
to 'Saved by the Bell...pepper'
So Ignis has a rough night but it was caught on time
