Mesh flickering
Added 2021-08-16 11:22:16 +0000 UTCIf you're having trouble with Steam and the mesh is flickering, you can solve it by disabling Steam Shader Cache:
1. Shutdown Steam ( exit client )
2. Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config
3. delete config.vdf
4. restart Steam and go to settings Shader Pre-Caching and untick Enable
5. Steam will then remove the shaders from your games ( it will look like its downloading them but its actualy removing them so don't wory about the downlods running )
Thanks Geoff Leven for this solution.

I can confirm for whatever reason, having steam cache off eliminates flicker for me

2021-08-27 07:22:46 +0000 UTCYes I think you're right. I read it as well as here: https://store.steampowered.com/oldnews/35534 However, as soon as I disabled the steam cache the flickering stopped for me. I re-enabled the cache now and booted up Re3 with a mod that was flickering for me and didn't show any flicker yet (only played for a minute). Steam also showed that 0mb had been used to cache shaders while only running RE3 and no other games. So yes, seems the cache probably is only for Vulkan and OpenGL, but for whatever reason stops my flickering.

2021-08-21 22:30:25 +0000 UTCNo. Cashing only works for Vulkan and OpenGL API. Mod is demanding.
2021-08-21 21:23:43 +0000 UTCYeah.
