June Update

Hey all! In this post I want to provide my patrons updates on how things are progressing in my art, projects and personal life. I also want to inform you of some changes and what to expect in the coming months.

ART, COMICS UPDATE

Regarding Special Delivery: I want to sit down and plan out all remaining pages to the end. This month I will be finishing page 13 so there will be another finished page update for my VIPs. I have previously only planned 1-3 pages ahead but I feel like this is slowing things down because of the hurdle of starting from scratch once those pages are finished. To combat this, I will plan out pages in June and July. My apologies for the slow pace. Balancing comic work with commissions and illustrations is a lot, but I want to continue this little smutty adventure!

General art and exclusives: I have a backlog of artworks I want to finish, so I am working on those. One of them is scheduled to release later today! 

For the future, I want to look at illustrating some of Gutterpupper's stories, which will include both the SFW and NSFW scenes. Our collabs inspire me so much and there are some scenes I really want to illustrate because I love the interactions between our characters. This is not me saying I want to shift my focus, but I would like to work on pieces that give the smut I draw a bit more context.

As such, we may enter another period where I will not be posting a lot of polls, as I these are more for situations where I'm unsure what to draw. I am thinking of improving my doodling techniques so I can provide more sketches in between colored pieces, so I might introduce doodle polls in the future.

PERSONAL UPDATE

Let's start with the good news: After a 5-6 month wait, I have received notice that my health insurance will cover my gender affirming surgeries. Once I have the written confirmation in my hands, I will be working on scheduling my top surgery. From what I heard, there seems to be a 3 month wait with my surgeon. I am informing you now so patrons are aware that things on the art end might slow down due to my surgery and recovery in a couple of months. 💖

Additionally, there may be a dip in productivity for me during the hotter days of summer. Germany's heat waves coupled with our lack of private air conditioning and houses built to keep warmth inside can be tough to handle, especially since I might experience Uhthoff's phenomenon, which causes fatigue and nerve pains / flare ups. Though I think many people would be miserable forced to endure nearly 32C / 90F for entire days and nights. 😑 This is to let you know a possible reason if things are a bit slower during the summer months.
