This is the last of the Patreon reward character sheets I have details for! It's done!
I've never drawn a dragon before. Certainly an interesting choice.
Drawing: Finishing Volume #1 touchups for publisher sending!
Volume #1: 40/72 pages finished
Playing: Age of Wonders 4, FINALLY! (albeit starting tomorrow)
Ramble:
I'll be totally honest. I don't expect to get a whole lot done this week. I've been eagerly anticipating Age of Wonders 4 for months now, the reviews coming out this week have all been strongly positive, and I NEEDS IT PRECIOUS. Some of my friends might even argue I've been a little too obsessed about it lately... though I blame Paradox for how they've chosen to market it. If I wasn't my own boss, making my own schedule, this would be one of those weeks I'd have already requested off in advance.
However, I recognize that nothing gets done on the comic front if I'm slacking off too much, so I'll be budgeting my time with AoW4 like I do with all the games I play (and like I recommend everyone does, cuz y'alls a buncha addicts, not me!). This week (and this week only) I'll allow myself to flex and go a little heavier on gaming than I would most weeks. Tomorrow I might binge it, but for the rest of the week I will still plan to spend the most of my productive daylight hours drawing and working on comic stuffs. Once the initial obsession wears off, usually after about a week, I'll return to gaming strictly in the evenings, after the eyes and the hand are tired from drawing all day.
Thankfully there aren't a whole lot of games these days I get THIS excited about, and part of this is my pledge to you all that I won't waste too much of my time on my video game addiction. After all, the comic must go on! Always.
