2025-01-18 14:26:29 +0000 UTCYes, this movie is basically a soft reboot of the first X-Men movie, because the third one, X-Men Last Stand, didn't do well. Without giving away spoilers, don't think too much about possible contradictions with the with the original trilogy. Remember that X-men movies at this point are not MCU. The next one, X-Men: Days of Future Past, is my favorite. Looking forward to your reaction to that!
