第5話（p.19-p.21）：体格で勝るも力負けするヒーロー / A hero who has an advantage in physique but loses strength

いよいよ、ダークブレイブとの一騎打ちに突入したマッチョヒーロー：アクアブレイブ！いちおう、この物語の主人公でもあるので、さて、どんな活躍を見せてくれるのでしょうか。

行くぞ、と戦闘に突入するダークブレイブ。

さあ、来い、とアクアブレイブは構える。

ダークブレイブの素早いキックを、アクアブレイブは体をぶつけるようにして弾く。

「お前の攻撃なんか軽いぜ！」と、体格で勝るアクアブレイブはダークブレイブを挑発。

すかさず、足元を狙ってダークブレイブがキックを打つが、アクアブレイブはジャンプしてかわす。

「ダークブレイブとのスピード勝負は不利… しかし、雄斗（アクアブレイブ）もスピードについて行っている」と、解説とばかりに説明する司令。

Let's go, Dark Brave rushes into battle.

Come on, Aquabrave prepared.

Dark Brave's quick kick is bounced off by Aqua Brave.

"Your attacks are light!" Aqua Brave, who is superior in physique, provokes Dark Brave.

Immediately, Dark Brave hits the kick aiming at the feet, but Aqua Brave jumps and dodges.

"The speed match with Dark Brave is disadvantageous... However, Yuto (Aqua Brave) is also keeping up with speed," explains the commander.

そして、ダークブレイブはしゃがんだ姿勢からアクアブレイブのアゴを狙って蹴り上げる！しかし、アクアブレイブはそれをかわして…

ダークブレイブの攻撃を見切ったアクアブレイブは、パワーを活かしたパンチを放つ。

And then, Dark Brave kicks up aiming at Aqua Brave's chin from a squatting posture! However, Aquabrave fends it off...

Aqua Brave sees through Dark Brave's attack and unleashes a punch that utilizes his power.

「ブレイブフィスト！」と勢いよくパンチを放つアクアブレイブ。

しかし、それを逆さまの姿勢で軽く受け止めてしまうダークブレイブ。

ダークブレイブはアクアブレイブの腕を支点に回転し、顔面に向けて突き刺すようなキック！

Aqua Brave throws a powerful punch with "Brave Fist!"

However, Dark Brave takes it lightly with an upside down posture.

Dark Brave rotates with Aqua Brave's arm as a fulcrum and pierces his face with a kick!

「技の切り返しが早い…」と、鼻血を拭き取りつつ考えるアクアブレイブ。

しかし「俺にはパワーがある！力でお前をねじ伏せる！」と、闘志を高めてパンチ！

"(Dark Brave) is quick to counteract his technique..." Aquabrave thinks while wiping his nosebleed.

However, "I have power! I will overwhelm you with power!"

しかし、アクアブレイブのパンチはまたしても軽々と受け止められ…

すかさず放った左のパンチもダークブレイブに掴まれてしまう。

However, Aquabrave's punches are taken lightly again...

The left punch that was released immediately was also caught by Dark Brave.

「体格で勝っているから、腕力で押し切れるとでも思ったのか？」

「いかにもバカが考えそうなことだ」

余裕のダークブレイブ。体格で勝るアクアブレイブが、逆に押し返されてしまう！

“Did you think that you could push through with your physical strength because you are superior in physique?”

"It sounds like something a macho would think."

Aqua Brave, who is superior in physique, is pushed back!

雄斗（アクアブレイブ）が力で押し負けている…！？

と、驚く司令。

そして、組み合った状態から、アクアブレイブは腹に膝蹴りを食らってしまう…！

Yuto (Aqua Brave) is overpowered...! ?

Commander was surprised.

And, from the grappling state, Aqua Brave gets a knee kick to his stomach...!

今回の戦闘シーンは、主にダークブレイブのスピード感とトリッキーな動きが中心です。相手の腕を軸に回転して顔面にキック…というシーンを先に思いついたので、それに繋がるまでの動きを考えて描きました。

The battle scenes this time are mainly centered on Dark Brave's sense of speed and tricky movements. The scene where Dark Brave spins around the opponent's arm and kicks it in the opponent's face... I came up with the scene first, so I thought about the movement leading up to that and drew it.

そして、前ページまでとはうってかわって、パワー勝負でも軽々とアクアブレイブを圧倒するダークブレイブ。

初めから、たとえヒーロー随一のパワーファイターであるアクアブレイブであっても、ダークブレイブにとっては取るに足らない相手であったのです。

実は、すでに公開しているエピソードの中で、ダークブレイブの設定についてはサラッと紹介してあるのですが、ヒーローにとって天敵とも言える彼の特性が、このような一方的な展開にさせています。

And, in contrast to the previous page, Dark Brave easily overwhelms Aqua Brave even in power games.

From the beginning, even Aquabrave, the hero's most powerful fighter, was a small opponent for Darkbrave.

Actually, in the episodes that have already been released, Dark Brave's setting is briefly introduced, but his characteristics, which can be said to be the hero's nemesis, make it such a one-sided development.
