October Movie Watch Party

I'm so excited to have our first ever Movie Watch Party this month together. As I've mentioned before, I'd love to watch a Horror/Halloween movie to get us in the October spirit!!! Leave any movie recommendations below!!! We'll get them narrowed into a poll. Also let me know if you'd prefer it to be a movie I haven't seen or not. Because I'd be down to watch a movie I love with you guys or a movie I've never seen before. I think both options would be a fun time :)

Also, leave the week days and times below that work best for you (Central Standard Time), so I can start to figure out when would be best to do it!!

Can't wait!!!

Just watched World War Z. Wow. I guess it counts because...ZOMBIES!!! :)

I'm gonna throw in a couple old suspense films partly inspired by the Ancestral toe story: Vertigo and Night of the Hunter.

Loved the book hated the movie.

Cabin in the woods,animal,

The Ruins (2008). Just finished the book, and I am now feeling... depressed and horrified. hmmm, maybe not the best choice.

Sleepy Hallow, The Descent, The Conjuring and Scream

Sean Stuart

“REC” is great. I bet you haven’t seen “Near Dark” which is my favorite vampire movie. It’s directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Alien fans will like it due to the casting.

The strangers, (2008), black Christmas (1974), drag me to hell (2009)

Ian

It Follows

Jai Nelson

Now I'm going to recommend a few movies you haven't seen before that aren't horror. The LOTR and Hobbit movies The other 2 movies in the dark knight trilogy Baby driver Collateral Parasite The matrix Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

It Follows or The Descent. And I second the suggestion of Alien. I'm in CET, 7 hours ahead of Wisconsin, so watching it live will be difficult. But I'll watch anyway :). I don't care either way if it's a film I've seen or not. Because, again, I'll watch anyway :).

Marc Van de Klashorst

Not sure if I would really consider this horror, but it's very good: A Quiet Place

The Autopsy of Jane Doe, or REC if you don't mind subtitles. GMT (London), but happy to watch anytime. PS Stannis makes an appearance in Jane Doe :)

Here are a few Horror Movies I recommend The Shining Doctor Sleep Stir Of Echoes Misery Evil Dead The Conjuring The Conjuring 2 Oculus Pet Semetary It Chapter 2

Lord of the rings

The exorcist or hell raiser

zaidan

30 days of Night is another good one.

Danny (Icarus)

I suggest The Lure for a movie. Anytime that’s not between 2-6am CST is my preference. And a movie you haven’t seen before please

Luis

Weekend! Please for the love of everything good! Please do it on a weekend night. I work all weekday nights. Saturday or Sunday nights from 5pm- 5am. If not could you at least record it?
