You know, I'm really starting to seriously consider getting rid of my Sunday schedule altogether; or maybe moving t to Monday or something. After five years of working on the comic I don't *really* enjoy being stuck on any sort of rigid schedule concerning something that is supposed to be my hobby!

Hmmm... it's just something I'm toying with.

I only recently found you but in situations like this for other content creators I always say do what you feel works for you don’t feel obligated to a certain day or schedule.

Do what works for you.

Whatever relieves your stress. If it gets bad take a break. As long as you keep enjoying making this, it will be as awesome as it has been. Keep up the awesomeness of this comic, in a way that let's you enjoy it.

I'm A-OK with that; I am a long-time reader of many webcomics that have changed schedules a few dozen times over the years, so as long as more pages keep coming, I'm cool. Besides, what better way to make Mondays better? :P

It's not even a monthly payout though, it only pays out per completed page, so... if I don't make content, nobody has to pay.

To put it bluntly, if you had people at the $20 Patreon tier, they would have a right to expect that kind of promptness out of you. You don't have a $20 tier, as I recall, you only have a $1 tier. This isn't a business, it's a hobby, and as much as I look forward to seeing your comic continue, you shouldn't feel bound to a rigid schedule, unless it's because you want to.

Long time reader: Do as you like with the schedule. I just went back and read the first few pages again. You've multipled the work you do by upping the quality a lot. Probably got a lot faster too, but the quality and complexity has moved faster. I'm really appreciative of what we've got (while, yes, also wanting a huge buffer to read through, I didn't say I wasn't a bit of a hypocrite :-)) ) Thank you!

Oh, I still enjoy the comic very much; it just seems like I'm trying to constantly cram too much work into a space that used to work for me back when I first started the comic... but, quite frankly, the pages have gotten a lot more complex for me (art-wise) lately than they used to be and it's getting harder to squish it all into my allotted hobby/personal time. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm not exactly a fast artist either... hah.

If I recall correctly, it was only a vocal minority who complained that your postings were irregular. A former boss of mine (back in the late '60s) coined the acronym "TIFI" for intrusive enquirers "Tell 'im fuck 'im"

Do what makes you happy! But damn the story is so good I hate being caught up 😂😂

Take time, think about what you need to do, and remember that if it isn't fun, maybe it is time for a change, ok? :)
