Hornet 29 sketched: End of Chapter 1
Added 2025-09-09 12:24:41 +0000 UTCPage 29 is sketched, and with that chapter 1 is one step closer to completion. And we will finally get our first proper look at Herrah, let me know if you like it.
Oh boy, part of me is surprised I actually got to this point. Chapter 1 has its ending lined up, and I can get started on chapter 2.
In regards to Herrah's design, its pretty much the same as the one she got in the practice sketches (its what those were for after all). But what Im most interested in is her colors. I got to choose one of them in page 27, but it will be here that I get to choose the rest. Im liking the design I have so far, only thing I have that needs figuring out is how im gonna draw her extra arms in some shots. I think im gonna have to change the second panel a little in that regard. You might be able to see her extra shoulders behind her head, but Im not sure how much I like it that way.

Ive settled to her being about twice hornet's normal height. And with the extra height her legs give her, Hornet now would put her head under Herrah's bust. But with that said, Hornet is far and away MUCH curvier than her mother.
