Update 0.23 (Shoichi)

After beeing gone for such a long time, i'm finally checking back on Tennis Ace (I'm also supporting you again <3) So, Shoichi, well yeah everything i wanted to say has already been said. The development of the relationship is great and seems so realistic. I like it a lot that the mc hast his own personality and doensn't just agree with everything beeing thrown at him, i always liked that. I was really sad when they lost that Volleyball Game, and after playing through the sad scene with Shoichi hiding in the closet, i just felt so sad, but i loved it! :D To be honest i always liked Haruki, it was quite obvious that something happend in his past, nobody just behaves like that. It's always great to see him, maybe he can be a Part of the Group. Now i'm so excited for the Festival! Can't wait to see what's going to happen there. I'm also a huge fan of how you adress Shoichi's sexual point of view now, that scene was just so funny. I can already tell by Shoichi's and the MC's personality that the first NSFW scene will be something special, but that can cleary wait, As always, 10/10, great Updates, now i'm going to play Juns and Keisuke's Route!. And i already knew what he meant by beeing ''excited'' it was hilarious.

Hey WOTB I just became your 5$ Patreon, I've been following the series for half a year now and must say I am definitely glad to support it worth every penny. Good update loved the character development for Haruki, and omg Yuuichi and Haruki,s interactions are hilarious, Haruki called him fag five times to no reaction from Yuuichi. Bwahahaha, I thought that was super hilarious and the lines "Are you trying to convert me into your little fag club or something?", "Hardly, You're not even that cute"! OMG I could not breathe sooo funny favorite line. Glad we got more time to dive into favboys personal life a bit more and his volleyball career, sad it's over thought, for now. Hoping to dive more into his family life at home, I would like to see his mother, find out more about that. Please more Hitoka she was super funny and had a great dynamic, I want to see her face when she finds out Shoichi and Yuuichi are dating, I bet it will be priceless. Glad that NSFW has been held off for now, really want to see some turbulents before their relationship reacts that level, really earn it. but glad that Yuuichi,s new Sexuality is being addressed slowly, he has only been with girls before so this is a big change for him I hope to see how he takes to the (cough, cough) new position. and last but not least glad to see the other characters are not being side shafted. In all great update nine out of ten, sorry my comment is so long lots to say, see you next time! Ps love the Short stories, are there going to be any with the other charaters?

Just finished playing through this update and you never fail to tug at my heartstrings with Shoichi. Thank you for making such a memorable story and I look forward to more updates. I feel like a scene about the main characters past and the car accident involving his dad would be interesting; maybe how Shoichi helped the MC through it, if at all.

I loved this update! Trust me, your writing has been and still is really solid. I especially liked the first closet scene because it was awkward - it absolutely felt like two guys being boyfriends for the first time and trying to figure out how they want it to go, and each going about it their own way. (and as dumb as it sounds, I'm really glad that dating didn't immediately lead into sex, that would've kind of broken down the emotional buildup happening here). I've played all the routes, and I can easily say that your writing is of really good quality all around, thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this VN!

Such a wonderful update! I'm really enjoying Sho's route more and more. There is one thing that felt a bit off. I haven't played Sho's route since his last update but I think there was some extra dialog between Yun and Haruki during there second encounter on the roof this time. During their dialog Yun's clothes suddenly changed and he began talking about Haruki changing his attitude. It felt like I missed something and walked in on the middle of a totally different conversation.

Jun might be my favorite, but man do you know how to make every character likeable! So, here are some of my thoughts for this update: The first closet scene with Shoichi felt a bit weird for me, but after playing through his heart events again and seeing his confession and how he was so excited to be with MC it made sense to me, he already puts a lot of trust in your mc and doesn't think he should hide things from you, even if it's a bit faster paced than you'd expect, so the closet scene felt natural to his character, although some people might disagree with how this scene plays out at first. Haruki`'s character development is going at a good pace so I hope we can see more in the future on why he acts like that and delve more into his backstory. The chapter closed in a very bittersweet way, but now your mc is getting more comfortable around Shoichi and even called him a boyfriend which made me smile in such a sad scene, but I love how it played out and the characters are now more close to each other because of it. All in all, this was a really good update, I have some questions related to the game itself if you can answer though, do you plan on adding more sprites to side characters like Aki and Haruki such as you did with Saya? Maybe even Shoichi's sister and other routes characters like Jun's parents and such. Continue o bom trabalho, espero que você continue colocando todo seu coração nos updates desse jogo no futuro como você faz agora, fico animado toda vez de ver quando você publica algo novo desse projeto &lt;3

Cool to see my favorite boy getting an update! You could really deliver those emotions let me assure you. Too bad that I will have to live with a cliffhanger for 3 months now ;_; Oh and just something I've noticed is that you use the word "embarrasing" alot. Perhaps you could switch it up a little (Tho I have no idea if it's perhaps just me fuzzing over things).

WOTB this update was great, I had the volleyball game cut a bit. But the feelings at the end with Shoichi where he cried were very good, I also had to cry. The emotional scenes are the best I've read so far, and the two are so shy in this relationship thing fits in well. on day 17 the MC says: Jun watch our training! but on the first day I went home instead of Jun. Jun can not have seen the training at all. Is my opinion, please continue. I want to know how the story continues I'm looking forward to the next update.

And I'm loving the Haruki development so far too, we're getting to see the layers more and more... (this sounds more and more like an onion comment) I will say I think Aki is slowly starting to compete with Saya for my favourite secondary character though... &gt;:3

Well I think you did a great job with those scenes. The relationship between Shoichi and the MC is great, the awkwardness now and then and the way they show their feelings for each other. I really like Haruki's arc from where we first met him to now. I'm hoping that's not over yet. There's definitely stuff at the end to build on. I know where I want you to take it, but wherever it does go I know it'll be good. Nice to see that Aniki is rolling well on his perception checks here as well :)
