between a reformatted hard drive, a can of compressed air, a new version of blender, and a massive external fan strapped to the bottom, i managed to get my laptop back to a state where i could mess around with 3D again (in brief bursts).
in the process of drawing a new face for the 3D test model, i realized i might as well go the extra mile and give her a proper, rigged eyes+mouth. you forget how important an expressive face is until you see it in action. attached is another example.
also set up sliders for her breasts & belly to swell up a bit before the rest of her body follows suite. looks a bit more natural than the arms puffing up from the jump.
next up: fixing the (non-existent) attach points of her wrists, ankles and neck! right now the head & extremities are separate models from the body.
