I wanted to do something different and fun, and say thanks to you guys for all of your support! So I asked Buckey to come up with a lapel pin design a few months back, and today I finally put in the order for them ^^. They are 1.5 inches wide and polished hard enamel.
The pins intended to be free for all of you patreon supporters that want them; I'm not going to sell them or look to make money off them. However, delivery costs may be an issue.
I have never done anything like this, so I don't really know how much it would cost to package and mail out individual items at a potentially high volume. Once I get the items I will package one and find out how much it weighs, then go to the post office and do a test run. I MAY end up having to restrict the pins to a certain tier that is high enough to cover postage; and that tier MAY depend on where it needs to be delivered to. (I read that Trump withdrew the USPS from international agreements that is set to drastically increase the cost of international postage)
I wouldn't be able to afford that much postage for tiers that are below the cost of shipping... but I will work out what to do once I know what I am dealing with in terms of cost. Perhaps the interest will be so small then the loss wouldn't be bad :) Please let me know your thoughts or suggestions on this if you have any!
For now though, I've added a poll for me to gauge the sort of interest people would have in this. I honestly have no idea how many of you would like this; it could be 10, it could be 300. I hope its not more than 300 as that's all I've ordered lol. But if they do prove to be hugely popular then I can always do another run ^^.
The pins will probably be ready by about April, though that's depending on whether the company's estimates are accurate. If you were to want a pin, I'd obviously need a mailing address from you. DONT GIVE IT TO ME YET THOUGH XD! But if you would like this pin, but don't want to give away such info, then please vote no on this poll as there would be no way for me to give it to you :(
