Update on 8/14 @ 9:00PM CST: Got most of the programming done tonight so I will be doing a bit of bug testing and getting the build into people's hands soon. I'm hoping to get this done by the end of the weekend but I will be leaving for the hospital soon after. Bug testing will be delayed if anything comes up and I will attend to it when I have the time but things will likely be quite hectic this next week.
Thanks again for all the support and well wishes through this adjustment period! I hope everyone has a nice rest of their weekend and a good week! I'll make another post when the WIP update is live. Until next time!
Small Update on 8/13/2021: There wasn't a Thursday stream yesterday due to needing to take care of some tasks before the kiddo arrives. She'll be born within the next week so my time became even more limited than anticipated. I am hoping to take care of the remaining programming to get most things into the game for a extremely Work In Progress update for everyone to experience the current art in the game. A lot of it will have limited story context/story or be images only due to the time I have left to program everything. Bug fixes/updates will also be a bit delayed if there are issues so please excuse this when it inevitably happens.
I'll make another update tomorrow after the stream where I will be likely programming but we'll see as the stream wanted to do drawing prompts instead.
I hope everyone has had a good week so far! Until next time.
Hello Everyone!
Tonight's stream we focused on programming for the Debug/WIP Room.
We got the Conveyor Belt On Map Event in a workable state and need to spruce it up with some dialogue and fixing some placeholders.
We'll be working on the new enemies and battle sprites during the next stream and programming the dialogue/On Map Events that are currently drawn.
I also go the VR Experience in but they are only the images so far.
A lot of this will be in a very obvious state of Work In Progress since I am trying to get things in quickly vs the usual quality that comes from finished builds. Since we're on more of a time crunch I am a little hesitant to release things in such a weird state but want to get what we've worked on over the last few months in people's hands to tide them over till the rest of the content is finished.
I'll update the Lewd-Ray Facehugger post as more progress is made on it but felt I should create an additional post about the Debug Room's Progress.
Debug Room Status:
-Mira's Side Event - Haptic VR Suit (Images Only in Debug Room - WIP)
-Collective Mothership - Conveyor Belt On Map Event: Battle Programmed and On Map Event Images/Description (WIP) - Needs cleanup
-Collective Mothership - Bio-Entity Enemies: Battles Programmed. Needs dialogue and triggers implemented.
Overall the total amount of things being added in this WIP build is as follows:
-Conveyor Belt On Map Event - 18 Battle Sprites / 6 On Map Images
-Bio-Entity Zone Enemies:
*Floor Sample - 6 Battle Sprites / 2 On Map Images
*Ceiling Sample - 6 Battle Sprites / (No Images Yet)
*Lewd-Ray Face Huggers - 6 Battle Sprites / (1 Image w/ alt, Part 2 Unfinished)
*Escaped Bio-Entity - 6 Battle Sprites / 3 On Map Images)
-Mira Side Event - Haptic VR Suit - 17 Images Total (14 Base Images - 3 Similar Alts)
Total: 42 Battle Sprites / 12 On Map Images / 17 Side Event Images
I feel like this isn't a super huge amount given that I took a few weeks break to do the Mona Image set and several weeks to work on Ankhrono-Tan V2 at various points so it wasn't all Mira Co Rescue related.
We're nearing the anticipated date of birth. We're only a week and a half out now but that time could rapidly change if anything comes up.
If you've made it this far in the update, thanks so much for supporting Mira Co Rescue! I am eager to continue work on this zone as it contains a lot of fun fetishes and content. Thank you for being patient with me while I work through this new stage in life and hopefully we'll be back making regular updates soon, though it'll be a journey I'm sure.
I hope everyone is having a good start to their week and is staying hydrated! Remember to get plenty of rest for my sake and take care of yourselves! Until next time!
