Khrono Tomb - On Map Events (Concepts - Update 10/12/20)

Update at @ 3:18PM CST on 10/12/2020: Final Update for the Concepts Post: I finished off the Shadow Entity concept images.  

First we Have the results of the party after they've been caught by the Shadow Entity.  On the right is Selena made into a sort of shadow statue as she rides a portion of the shadow entity inside her, on the bottom left is Hemmy on top of a treasure chest the shadow entity has possessed and is holding her in place with tentacles, and lastly in the middle is the entire party stuck within the Shadow Entity with some masks (variations will be in this one)

Next is all the capture events for the Shadow Entity.  Selena is grabbed so and ends up with only her breasts sticking out, Hemmy is grabbed and is stuck with her bits sticking out, and lastly Mira tries to fight the shadow entity instead of being caught like her friends only to get instantly defeated and made into a plaything for the Shadow Entity with her bits and feet sticking out in the end.

I'll be working on the rough sketches/images tomorrow during Tuesdays stream and will be making a new post for the progress there.  I hope everyone is having a good start to the week! Until next time.

Previous Update on 10/10/2020: Got the Sphinx Riddle images finished up along with Selena's Shadow Entity and result.  I still need to work on the rest of the Shadow Entity for Mira and Hemmy with their captures/results.

First up we have the final result if all party members get the Wall riddle wrong where they are made into some trophies that the sphinx proudly displays after outsmarting them.  The next is the party members and their various ways of becoming part of the wall.  Selena is grabbed by some tentacles and becomes a mural with her inside, Hemmy is grabbed by some genie like cuffs and is put into some harness bondage, and Mira is grabbed by a wall mimic and held inside of it.

Second we have Selena's Result if she is captured by the Shadow Entity but someone makes it through the maze along with how she is captured.

Lastly, the result of the Vore related riddle where the party is trapped within the Sphinx as she uses their mana to mount an escape from the tomb.  Then it is the individual ways the group is eaten with the sphinx using shrinking magic and teleportation.  Selena finds herself crawling into the sphinx's vagina, Hemmy is eaten by the Sphinx's snake tail, and Mira manages to crawl right into the Sphinx's mouth and is swallowed. 

I might finish up the remaining Shadow Entity concepts off stream and start Rough Sketches during Tuesdays stream.  Until then, I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far!  Until next time.

Previous Update on 10/8/2020:  Hello everyone!  Got more concept sketches done on tonight's stream.  A bit of a late start and went a little late as well.  First up we have the results of the Quicksand Tile Trap.  On the left is Selena who is made into a statue who is caught in a bit of stasis from a bit orgasm.  On the right is Hemmy who is made part of a Queen Chess piece pillar.  And finally in the Center is what happens if all three get caught in the trap and are made into a pillar sharing a dildo at the center.

Next we have the other party member's experiences with the hypnotic fruits.  The final result of all three as fruits is the next image.  Mira has some bits exposed as a peach, Selena is in some creamy banana petrification, and Hemmy is in some skin tight latex within an eggplant coating. (Update: Reviewing the Sphinx Riddle, there wouldn't be an opportunity to see the individual results since there is only enough guesses to have each member fail before the correct answer is chosen)

Still need to do the other 2 sphinx riddles fail/results and the Shadow Entity capture/results.  Overall, it seems like the on map events may total 54 images (3 capture per character(9) and results (1) for 10 for each Sphinx Riddle (30) and the Tile Trap/Shadow Entity have 3 capture images with 3 results (24) for a total of 54) Then it is the 3 remaining game overs for 69  images remaining.  At this point I think that will be the images that need to be done for 0.5.0 at least for now.  I am hoping to get a build out that will include the new Halloween Game Over in time for Halloween at least depending on how progress goes.

Hello everyone!

We're back after our short break from game assets as I worked on some commissions.  I posted most of the commission work on my Art Twitter if you'd like to see what I did.

I am consolidating some of the ideas I had for the Desert Path On Map Events into the Khrono Tomb area and giving them more of a tomb trap theme to make the Khrono Tomb the most interactive map.  The Desert Path will have a few surprises later on but for 0.5.0 I will focus on getting the Khrono Tomb finished up with the Desert Path as a small inbetween area that will be fleshed out more afterwards.

I worked on conecpt art for the Khrono Tomb On Map Events a bit tonight.

The current plan is to have areas separated to either combat or on map event puzzles.  

First up is an area that has trapped floor tiles where each time you step on one a party member will push Mira out of the way and get stuck in the trap instead.  When you make it to the end of the puzzle you can see the party member(s) who fell into the traps fate before rescuing them.  If all three get caught you get a one image game over of the party's overall fate to the room.

Second is a concept art of Selena eating a fruit for part of a Sphinx Riddle puzzle.  You pick a fruit based on the answer of the question the sphinx gives you.  If it is wrong the fruit hypnotizes the party member with a different effect.  Each question has four potential answers so it is possible to get them 'all wrong' to see what happens or answer the question correctly to move onto the next. (All scenes unlock upon puzzle completion)

Third is a concept art of the Shadow Entity that appears in the section right before the boss.  She wanders the halls and absorbs anyone she comes in contact with (A few mummy girls have already fallen victim to her).  The party picks corridors based on questions once again and picking the wrong one will lead to a dead end where the shadow entity will stalk you until it catches you to absorb one party member.  If all party members are caught it leads to a short game over.  If you get past the area she lets the party members she caught go.  Her 'face' is just a mask she wears.

Ooh, more stuff added huh? Sounds like you're having a great time coming up with all these ideas. For the sphinx, since you mentioned it using shrinking magic, is it too early to ask how big they are?

These previews are definitely getting me excited for the on map traps. I like how the last part of the quicksand trap goes with a sandworm, though I wonder what else the sphinx riddles will do. I have some suspicions based on what sphinxes do in general.
