An update on now and my plan for the future...

Posting the WIP for the next artwork here cause why not but just wanted to write a little before the end of the year. Both of how its going right now but also my plan going forward into the new year. Its a little long but hope you consider reading :))

First of all I want to thank you all again for supporting me this year! This has probably been the best year for me despite some stuff not going how I wanted. My Patreon really kicked off. I went to Japan for the first time for a month. Met some of my favorite people this year and also ended some stuff that was stressing me. I learned so much about myself and also felt I really got better at drawing too! I much more understand what I want to do going forward, although still some stuff I continue to be unsure about. I found out I might have ADHD from a therapist, although I still need to book my appointment with a psychiatrist to get it fully diagnosed (that's a goal for next year!). I launched my second plushie campaign, and although it was a bumpy round making it, it finally came out and succeeded!

Just want to say THANK YOU ALL!!! Thank you for supporting me, my art, my projects and my Patreon. Even the smallest amount has helped me to where I am today and I am forever grateful! I honestly think most of these accomplishments I just mentioned wouldn't have happened without any of you guys' support! So thank you! I wish I didn't procrastinate so much, so I could create more art and content, but hope its still been enough and I will do my best to do even better next year.

And talking about next year, I have some rough plans for what it will bring.

First off I am attending my first ever convention art booth in Copenhagen! I am really excited but also nervous. It will happen this February so from now on I will be mostly doing stuff that involves preparing for that. So there's gonna be some fanarts and chibi arts for stickers these next 1 or 2 months.

After the con concludes, I won't be having any big stuff going on for a while. I will prob open comms around early spring, but most importantly since I don't have anything I need to do too soon, I plan on working on a bigger project. My art projects rarely last more than a few weeks. Most of my art I finish in a week. But I want to work on something bigger. A personal project that will challenge me. So I am planning to start developing a game!

I have always wanted to try game dev work, but never really started. I know it isn't easy and I will do a lot of mistakes but I want to challenge myself and I think it could be a really good learning experience. I plan on making a simple thing about my vampire OCs (and the others). Something that can maybe expand the lore a little and make my characters feel more like characters. I would love to also do other stuff, but that will probably have to wait. Stuff like a horror game is something I have thought of too.

Of course I wont stop drawing while doing this. This will more be like a side thing while drawing, since I still want to improve my art skills and maybe work on building up my artist portfolio. And yes, I will be updating about my game dev journey on the Patreon discord server.

I also want to try other new stuff, like maybe some 2D animation and 3D art. And maybe also some video content. But we will see what happens.

One last thing is I might also go to Japan in fall again, but stay there for multiple months while I draw there. I want to try new stuff but I don't want to leave my art behind so doing both would be such a cool experience! Not many details on that yet and still gotta figure some stuff out, but I am optimistic about the future and will do my best to make 2025 the best year it can be!

Thank you again for everything and thank you for reading my essay haha!

Looking forward to whatever you cook up as a game dev!

Watching you grow and genuinely foster a growing community from the sidelines has been very cool. I enjoy seeing where your game dev goes and will watch closely as I'm excited to see where that goes. Hope that you enjoy your multi month trip in Japan! I want to come to Europe at some point next year or so, I have a group of people who live in Germany and the UK that I've known for years and I might try and swing to your art booth if possible. Money's not a problem it'll be time management that stands in the way. But otherwise, it's great to see ya looking this far forward. It'll be awesome to see what you cook up.

Its been nice seeing how fast your support has grown since I've joined. I'm proud to be a part of it. If you do open comms next year, expect one from me
