How detailed should I make the sketch? How should I divide the painting stages to be more efficient?

I'm currently drawing these NIKKE characters.
I'm going to draw "Maiden(Black hair)" for sure, but I'm not sure about "Guillotine(Blonde hair)" for sure.
Haha.. actually, I didn't draw small boobs characters often.
So I'm worried that the supporters won't want it.
So I'm thinking about drawing "Guillotine" as just a simple practice work.
First of all, I'll think about it as I complete "Maiden"work.
work concept is NiKKE x Goblin.. haha..😅
