[GG] Levi with freshly washed fluffy hair

13/14 Levi with his hair down. I tend to forget that he has straighter hair than Piet, but puts hair products in it most of the time when he's that age.

And him with Henry ...

Thanks for those insights, Jeremy! I didn't know about the numbers, but I also heard somewhere that more people than you think are at least a bit interested in the same sex. Maybe there's still a difference between finding someone hot or actually being able to fall in love with someone? For me, I don't think I could feel something for a girl but I'm not completely turned off ... hm. The brother thing is super interesting!

What you’re describing would’ve been true 10-15 years ago, but its not really anymore. Google the ‘Kinsey Scale’, by many estimates there are more people with some same-sex attraction than people who are completely heterosexual. 2015 poll in the UK found 56% of people aged 18-24 did not identify as completely straight, and so much has changed even in four years since then. Societal pressures made heterosexuality the norm, and its decreasing rapidly for younger generations (look at Ancient Greece/Rome for a society without this pressure).

Couple thoughts. I think a lot more people are bi than admit it, and there is a fair bit of evidence to back this up. Being gay/bi is less dangerous than ever, making it easier to come out; I consider myself bi, and never would’ve dated guys if it were not for social change (I’m Canadian, if it matters). And its changing pretty rapidly, even my younger brother has estimated that maybe 15% of his grade identified as gay/bi, which is way higher than it was for me. A few studies show that perhaps as high as 50% of people in younger generations display some same-sex attraction (to various levels of course). Also, just from my experiences reading a lot of gay forums when I was in high school, two brothers both being gay is certainly somewhat common. I read many times about how one brother would come out, and then the other brother would feel really guilty because it would upset his parents if both sons were gay. A lot of gay brothers felt pressure to be the “straight one.” And it doesn’t help that one brother being gay increased the odds of the other being gay to around 20%.

Have a little faith in the story! ♥ For brothers to have the same sexuality is not that uncommon I think? And to surround oneself with the same kind of people. But in GG you're right; if all the characters turned out to be secretly bi/gay/... it would be weird :D Although it's really tempting as a creator when you like all of them and want to make interesting stories about them ... I like to think in many different directions and often don't have "that one canon plot" so that's mostly where the shipping pics come from.

One of the difficult parts of accepting that you´re not straight is that almost everyone is. If Piet´s brother and best friends were lgtb it wouldn´t be so traumatic to come out. That´s why I don´t like stories where almos all the characters are lgtb, because it is not realistic, the most common thing is that you fell in love with someone who is not gay or doesn´t like you back, if the person you fell in love with also love you back it is pretty odd but probably, but if your best friend and brother are gays as well it is just imposible

I have seen some pictures of many characters of this webtoon on romantic positions, I hope it is just for enjoyment and doesn´t have to be connected with the plot, I´m ok with Piet and Henry being lgtb characters, but if characters like Levi or Felix end up being lgtb as well I think the plot would lose realism and meaning.
