It's all about Piet and Henry and yes, it's raining, so they're outside for a while which is nice (yay for nature backgrounds!).
I need to take a look at these pages with a fresh eye. It still seems a little too emotional/not realistic BUT that's also fun to draw XD
FUN FACT: It's super hard to draw Henry looking like a 15 year old ... that guy is like ... 18 in my head. They are both 15 for god's sake. 15. So young.

:D You're right; I tend to make his face too edgy. Things I try to keep in mind to make him look younger: make the eyes bigger, lower the eye level/squish the head a bit, softer jawline.

2018-11-02 08:25:26 +0000 UTCOh, so many questions! What is making Piet so uncomfortable that he has to hide his face? What are they talking about that's causing all this blushing? Who are they hiding from? Why are they hiding? What caused Henry to lose all his inhibitions like that? What, why, who, huh? Exciting stuff! Btw, I think the portrait of Henry in the character description page on animexx is where he looks the most like a 15-year-old, though it's hard to say exactly why. Like, a softer, rounder jaw perhaps?

It was hard to let my own stuff rest for some months to concentrate on getting the jobs done. But it was a good decision since it's brought me peace and erased all the stress. Concentrating on one thing at a time is what I'm learning this year :)
