EN/ Sunrise City v1.1.1 Official release (Student/VIP/Mayor Tiers)

Link version 1.1.1b: ZIP

Walkthrough: Link

The main story continues, and it's time to discover the beginning of the training with Kana!

This version brings several new features:

The combat band system, which will allow you to start upgrading your heavy bands.

The new skill upgrading system, which no longer takes place in the ability tree, but in its own menu and with new resources: Fragments. You can obtain these new elements in the game's various activities, and those of you who have already completed “A Golden Scoop” and “Troubles in Block C” will already own a few.

Four new skills also make their appearance in addition to two existing ones, which become available if you've completed some specific challenges in the Prologue.

It's been a great version to work on. We had a lot of fun with the combat and challenges, but also with the adult scenes with characters who haven't yet had much content of this kind. It was also cool to get Kana involved, and we hope you will enjoy the moments with her.

This version plants many seeds for the end of D.T.W, which we hope will be epic!

All that's left now is to wish you welcome back to Sunrise City and, above all, good luck for this part of the Deadly Training Week!

-Sunny & Zack

EN/ Sunrise City v1.1.1 Official release (Student/VIP/Mayor Tiers)

Comments

No, there is no MAC version of the game for now.

Sunny & Zack

will this also work on MAC?

Matthew Madden

Don't launch the game from the zip, it won't work. You need to extract the contents of the zip into a folder and then launch "Sunrise City.exe".

Sunny & Zack

ive downloaded the game, but the zip is not opening can you help with the issue. I need to know what file from the ZIP to press in order to play lol

Matthew Madden

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding energy skills, their absence is intentional, but it's going to happen in DTW, it's getting closer. For the Holly token, it's an error that will be fixed for the next version.

Sunny & Zack

Thank you! Oh! And I wanted to say I really love the updates to the combat system! Thank you for those! I can't wait until we can get Energy abilities because it feels like something is missing from the three-part rock-paper-scissors style system! Speaking of which, I have an extra Holly Token that doesn't go anywhere because all my ability slots for Holly are full! Is that intentional?

Gautam Behal

Great! Have fun with the end of Rebecca's story ;) If you remember the missions that posed a problem, don't hesitate to send us a message.

Sunny & Zack

Yup! Thankfully, it works. I was worried because some of the quests weren't triggering appropriately for me in the new version! What I had to do with some of them was save and exit, then Replay from a golden spot to trigger the events normally. I had to do it twice! I usually keep a record of bugs like those to provide better information to the developers, but I was trying to play as much as possible in the short time I had this week. I'll be sure to keep better notes for next time!

Gautam Behal

If it doesn't work, send us your save by contacting us on discord or by mail (sunrisecitycontact@gmail.com) so that we can see what's wrong and fix your save as soon as possible.

Sunny & Zack

It's normal, it's something new that's arrived with the DTW, which is more open in terms of exploration than the Prologue. Have you tested whether the event launches correctly on Thursday during the day?

Sunny & Zack

Of course, I don't mind exploring! I'm just pointing out as a critique it feels a little inconsistent when the other quests mention days of the week. It feels more like an oversight that this one does not follow that same convention rather than intentional design. If exploration is the intention, then it might be good to remove the other indications for days of the week in the other missions as well?

Gautam Behal

Figuring out where to go and what to do is also part of the game. The mission menu isn't designed to indicate everything. Have you tested Thursday during the day? You're right, the story indeed ends after the mission "The D.T.W part 1" for now. The v1.1.1 is called DTW part 2, because it's the second version that adds content to the main story.

Sunny & Zack

The description in the quest log says that I have to be there during the Day. It doesn't mention a specific day of the week. I have been there every Day, Evening, and Night for four or five days now and nothing has happened. I'm not sure if a particular event flag did not trigger or something? Otherwise, if it has a particular day of the week it triggers on, it would be nice if it was mentioned in the quest log like the other missions that say they happen on Tuesday Night. So, I am I correct in thinking that the main story is done after DTW Part 1? Because as soon as that mission became finished in my quest log is when I got the message about the end of the story for now. I thought since this update was labeled DTW Part 2 there was more story afterward with DTW Part 2 being the mission. Is that not correct?

Gautam Behal

When you get this message, it means you've reached the end of the main story. However, depending on what you've already done or not, there may be events left to do in the personal stories of certain characters. For Rebecca, you have to be in Block A at a specific time and day.

Sunny & Zack

I'm a bit confused. Is there supposed to be a quest for Part 2? Because when I finished Part 1, I get a message saying that's the end of the story for now. And I can't seem to get Rebecca to show up in Block A in the morning.
