Hello friends,

and welcome back to Swift Guitar Lessons for another by request song tutorial. In today's session we'll learn how to play The Animals' 1964 classic "House of the Rising Sun." We'll begin by learning the song recognizable intro picking section, before applying those techniques to the verse sections. Let's get started!

I agree John, way too pricey considering how easy it is to tune your guitar the traditional way. But, wait till the roadie 3 comes out and I bet they’ll knock at least 50% off.

Now it works. House of the rising sun was one of my first songs that I learned when I started with guitar as a teenager. However, this is a more authentic version to the way played by the Animals. So, thanks for bringing back memories and helping me to get better in playing guitar.
