Update -- 7 / 19 / 25: Back to Art Full-Time.
Added 2025-07-19 15:43:54 +0000 UTC Over the past month and a half, I've been given a series of new physical therapy exercises to try with the recovery of my arm / wrist / etc. These seem to have worked, and I have been spending the past month in mostly-silence building strength in the drawing-arm where my triceps had been undergoing atrophy thanks to a pinched / trapped nerve. One set of the exercises done literally and quite-audibly made a loud crunch / pop, and feeling began to return to both the back of my right shoulder along with the underside of the arm.
A lot of wrist / finger / etc. popping has also stopped as a result of this extended period of break / rest. Extremely grateful for this.
I have been working on small doodles from time to time to keep the rust from accumulating, but nothing -too- finished-looking (but some are close to being so).
No sound yet for the Rouge animation, but the friend I had selected and all of us involved with wanting to make the sound-edit a fun thing have mainly been very-busy with real-life activities recently. Preferably, and knowing this, I try very hard not to repeatedly poke them.
During my rest, I have been mostly utilizing my left-hand while playing / completing a very, very fun Sci-Fi Roguelike called 'Caves of Qud'. If you haven't already checked it out now, please do. It's very good. Between my walks / house-cleaning / food-prep / important things being done, a lot of my time has been dedicated to recovery, and to Qud.
Posting this just prior to a shower and shave -- but afterwards, it's 100% back to art / animation / etc. In moderation, of course.
Please take care.
