Don't have any thoughts off the top of my head just now -- but I could take some suggestions here, and see what people enjoy the most via likes and all :3

I think showing statistics after the fact can be a fun way to retroactively add some context, and I think you can get pretty creative with status bars so, depending on the effort you want to put into it 'cause this stuff can be a pain: maybe do a CV loop where the prey is struggling against being pulled in, and show both an HP bar AND a Stamina Bar. Maybe have the stamina bar deplete, which alters the loop in a way which makes the Prey appear more exhausted and/or limp and the pred just jovial and certain of victory, implying the player just simply has to helplessly watch the HP bar whittle down until it hits zero and, in they go. After which a game over screen imposed over the pred's full sack showing statistics like... -items recovered (or perhaps, items lost, if it's roguelike -Total time survived or perhaps rooms/floors explored -Area/room captured in -number of times spotted, -number of times grabbed, -number of times escaped, -distance from extraction point (that's a reeeeaaal good one for the 'so close yet so far' appeal) ...and/or whatever else sounds good. If it's fatal/digestion, maybe include a text quote from the Pred, or if it's endo, as I tend to prefer, it can be fun to have a quote from the embarrassed prey from inside the balls. Anyway sorry for the wall of text but maybe some general ideas like that might be kinda interesting for you to ponder? I'll leave actual character/setting suggestions to people more into R34.
