Hey James, that's a Cascade fathead II microphone going into a Presonus firestudio 2626. I use Logic Pro as a DAW and usually add reverb and compression via CLA plugins.

Hey Pam, thanks, glad you're enjoying this lesson. In terms of practice two songs at once, that would depend on your practice time. If you haven't gotten a finger style song down yet, you might want to start with an easy one like this for building fundamentals, and developing the physical aspects like dexterity on your right hand. A terrific song, Rob, and a very cool lesson. I love the counting aspects because it challenges the picking in a new way. It's great to get beyond straight argeggios with the picking and into songs that are more rhythmic. You're lessons are top notch and I echo Pam's gratitude above.

This is great, Rob. I'm still plugging away at Morning has Broken because I've yet to get a finger style song down, but putting out these awesome lessons is really helping. Would you suggest working on those 2 songs simultaneously? I'm not sure if it would help or confuse me, but I know I want to add both to the repertoire.
