Grateful Dead "Ripple" Acoustic Guitar Lesson

Hello friends,

And welcome to another by request song tutorial. Thanks to popular demand, I've created a complete video guitar lesson for the Grateful Dead's 1970 classic "Ripple." In this free tutorial, I'll break down my approach to combining the rhythm and lead guitar parts for the intro, and the chord changes and strumming options for the verse and chorus sections. Let's get started!

Cool stuff ! Really enjoying your teaching method. Put down the guitar for many years while raising kid and working and recently picked it back up. Have already somewhat learned rhythm and lead for a few of my favorites.

Dude so glad i found you..

Hello, I have download the tab. On the intro section how could I known the duration of each chord or note ? all the measure do not have the same size or number of '-'. Apologize i am from France and I do not know all the terms related to music.

Rob ,I have been a member for a couple years now ,just wondering if you would have a lesson and sheet music for Toes by Zac Brown

Can't wait to perform this song, great tutorial, thanks rob.

Rob, I want to play this with a metronome. I know you combined rhythm and lead in the intro. Does the original recording BPM of 126 apply to your intro? Thank you!

your amazing rob !
