Rob, this is so great, and so are you! thanks a million! I have doing that and Jeff Buckley, Lilac Wine, which does many of the same chords and diminished chords. I know we are doing Tom Petty (cry!) after now, but might I get you to teach Jeff Buckley? I found itself on list from the Pablo Tato Lilac Wine (to hard for me!) but incredible beauty.

I have played this on Youtube so many times and each time, I discover something I am doing wrong......I did notice though that one or 2 of the chords on this sheet is different from what you used in YouTube. I still luv it though!

The tab shows what frets and patterns to play at once. If you need diagrams, I can try to fit them in at the bottom of the last page. ;)

Why are the chords in "tab" and not written out in "diagram form"?

Hey Darren, teaching these lessons on YouTube gives me a lot of pleasure, and purpose. I love hearing about your progress, so keep me posted. Everybody's Talking, still one of my favorite tunes to play. Keep in mind that my arrangement is different from the original in some sections, but I think it's a good version for solo performance.

The first alternative is C#maj with an A shape bar: X4666X. The 2nd alternative is picked from the D string down: XX3121. This is basically the C shape bar without the pinky.

Great arrangement and vocals! Any suggestion for alternate fingering for C#? I'm a somewhat advanced Beginner, but can't quite get the C shape barre chords yet.
