Hello friends,
And welcome to the 2nd installment of my Led Zeppelin "Going to California" series! Attached you will find my updated tab and chord sheet. Let's get started!
Great lesson. So thankful to be learning it! The key thing I noticed about this song, is that it's easy to go too fast! It's much slower than one might think at first, and while going slower is actually harder (at times) it's only harder at first, and best of all, it allows you to more easily grab all the notes on time. Be sure you are singing as slow as you are supposed to and match the speed of the riff that way

Hey Jason, you're right, I'm not playing anything on that string. 5th fret G is being held down just in case I were to accidentally hit it, or if I just wanted to throw in a variation. Sometimes it's a good idea to think ahead for those things. Thanks!

Hey Rob, I'm curious, at 6:40 you ring finger (and instruct), the G string on the 5th fret, but never strike the note. Is it a ghost note or a a mute? I noticed it once before previously in the tutorial... thanks again for your work. Someday please tell us about the old man and the sea painting,,got to be a story there..
