Weekend Catchup

Hey everyone! There are a few assorted projects that have been rendered, are in the rendering process, or are just simple sketches I've been doing in my spare time, so this is a collection post of sorts to get it all sent out with as minimal pings as possible. Theres a good mix of things here, so I hope there is something for everyone to enjoy!

The first is a piece of my dragon Sinoa, being the result of a new rendering experiment I was encouraged to try, that being a "zero line" method where you simply fill in the colors and apply a border effect to do the linework. Admittedly, I'm not sure I enjoyed the process too much, but I chalk that up to always doing the linework first and then the coloring, so this was a completely backwards experience for me haha. Still, I gave the project a full illustrative treatment!

Second up is a simple project for a friend of their Umbreon Espeon hybrid who is impossibly smug and snooty. Third was a more casual sketch of my OC Zoey with a pretty sizeable gut, clearly having put on some weight but still brimming with softness. And finally, the current WIP commissioned piece being a new reference sheet of Thalia for my friend lolbamf. She's grown a lot and it shows! Thalia has certainly plumped up in all the right places.

This should get all my current posts caught up! Looking ahead, the current goals this weekend are finishing Thalia's reference sheet, getting drafts sent out of the Cerestia piece, and getting some work in on a potential birthday gift for a friend, of course as well as any personal illustrations I can squeeze in in my free time. Its gonna be busy, but there's still all of this evening and all of tomorrow to get work done.
